Tema Staig is the Executive Director of Women In Media and a leading voice for women in the entertainment crafts. She has been a featured speaker at the Toronto International Film Festival, The Pay Equity Summit, and The ASC Vision Committee. She has been featured on numerous pod casts and articles.

She is a Production Designer/Art Director with a background in Scenic Art and Theater Design. She is best known for her work on the feature films Kissing Jessica Stein, Happy Hour, Battlefield America, and American Splendor as well as commercials and music videos.

She was a producer on the Women In Media CAMERAderie short films initiative. She secured money, goods and services, mentorship, and prizes such as cameras for participants. The films have started their festival runs, with Blood and Glory being invited to screen in competition at Tribeca Film Festival.

Ms. Staig has been a professor at L.A. City College, The Art Institute, and was the Associate Course Director at LA Film School. She continues to teach design for film and television at Santa Monica College.
